Signing Up & Logging In
1. How do I create a HoYoverse Account?
1.1. Visit the homepage https://account.hoyoverse.com/ to create a HoYoverse Account.

1.2. In the game, select "HoYoverse Account > Sign Up", enter your email address and the verification code received through it to finish the process. The verified email address can be used to reset your password and to make your account more secure.

1.3. In the game, open the HoYoverse Account interface and authorize a third party account to sign up.

2. How can I link a HoYoverse Account?
In Honkai Impact 3rd, open the Account interface, tap [Link New Account], and enter your new HoYoverse account to link it to your current account.

*Do not log into the game using a new HoYoverse Account before linking it to your current account, or you will create a new Honkai Impact 3rd account that prevents you from linking the new miHoYo Account to your current account.

3. How can I log in using a HoYoverse Account?
If you have a HoYoverse Account, enter your email address and password on the login interface to log in. If you do not have a HoYoverse Account, you can quickly log in using a third party account.
*Do not log into the game using a new HoYoverse Account before linking it to your current account, or you will create a new Honkai Impact 3rd account that prevents you from linking the new HoYoverse Account to your current account.

4. Can I log into a HoYoverse Account using my miHoYo Account info?
No. The new HoYoverse Account and miHoYo account are two different login methods and do not share any info. Even when you have linked a HoYoverse Account to a miHoYo account, you still need to log into them separately.

 

5. Why can't I create a HoYoverse Pass?
Once the new HoYoverse Account system goes live, the portal to create a HoYoverse Pass will be removed.

 

Account & Security
1. How can I make my HoYoverse Account more secure?
Please visit https://account.hoyoverse.com/ and select "User Center > Account Security" to link it to your username, phone number, and email address for easier recovery.

 

2. What should I do if I forget my HoYoverse Account?
Please contact our customer support in-game or via email and provide your info as requested.

 

3. What should I do if I forget my password?
3.1. Please select "Forgot Password" on the login interface and enter the verification code received through your email to reset your password.

3.2. If you cannot reset it on your own, please contact our customer support for help.

 

4. How can I link a HoYoverse Account when I already have an authorized third party account or miHoYo Pass?
In Honkai Impact 3rd, open the Account interface, tap [Link New Account], and enter your new HoYoverse account to link it to your current account.

 

5. How can I unlink a HoYoverse Account from a game account?
You cannot unlink a linked HoYoverse Account in-game, so please link your accounts carefully.

 

6. After introducing the HoYoverse Account system, will the link status of my miHoYo Pass or authorized third party account be retained?
The linked status will be retained as follows:
1. miHoYo Pass: The "Link Third Party Account" option has become the "Link HoYoverse Account" option. If you have already linked a third party account, the link status will be retained but hidden. If you have not linked a third party account, you can no longer link it.

2. Third party account: The "Link miHoYo Pass" option has become the "Link HoYoverse Account" option. If you have already linked a miHoYo Pass, the link status will be retained but hidden. If you have not linked a miHoYo Pass, you can no longer link it.

 

7. How can I link my phone number and email address to a HoYoverse Account in-game?
Currently, you cannot link your phone number and email address to a HoYoverse Account in-game. Please perform this action by accessing "User Center > Account Security" on https://account.HoYoverse.com/.

 

8. I have several accounts on one server. Can I link them to the same HoYoverse Account?
No. A HoYoverse Account can only be linked to one game account per server.

 

9. I have a game account on several servers. Can I link them all to the same HoYoverse Account?
Yes. A HoYoverse Account does not share the link status across servers with current accounts. A HoYoverse Account can be linked to one game account per server.
